Original Azimuth Drawing 1966.
IT ALL STARTED WHEN. . .
1964
Azimuth Electronics is founded in Denville, New Jersey by Ken Johnsen Sr.
1966
Azimuth Electronics relocates from New Jersey to California.
1984
Azimuth moves to it’s current location in San Clemente, California.
1986
Ken Johnsen Sr., founder of Azimuth Electronics, retires. Ken Johnsen takes over the company.
1997
Azimuth Electronics transitions to manufacturing everything in-house, solidifying its position as a comprehensive test and burn-in socket manufacturer.
2021
Ken Johnsen retires, marking the end of an era. Azimuth Electronics is now in the hands of the next generation with cousins, Brett Johnsen and Melissa Johnsen at the helm.
